Lab Testing
An important part of the overall assessment of our patient’s health at Big Sky Integrative Health involves lab testing. We offer and utilize both in-house and send-out labs to help uncover and confirm what changes are occurring in the body and at the cell level for our patients.
In-house lab testing includes:
Blood draws: Our clinic utilizes Billings Clinic Laboratory and we have a courier that comes daily to pick up our blood work. Common tests include; CBC, CMP, Lipid Panel, Thyroid (TSH, Free T3, Free T4, TPO Antibodies), Hemoglobin A1C, Vitamin D, Insulin, CRP, HS-CRP, Homocysteine, Hormones (Estradiol, Progesterone, Testosterone, LH, FSH), ANA Screen, and more.
Urinalysis: Our clinic utilizes both rapid urine dip and Billings Clinic Laboratory for urine analysis.
Throat Swabs: Our clinic utilizes Rapid Strep Test swabs for immediate feedback in consideration for strep throat.
PAP Smear/HPV Typing: Our clinic utilizes PAP smear/HPV typing to screen for cervical cancer in women.
Send-out lab testing includes:
Galleri Multi-Cancer Early Detection Test: The Galleri multi-cancer early detection test looks for a shared cancer signal across more than 50 types of cancer, (visit Galleri.com/50-cancers for a list of cancers) through a simple blood draw. Through a simple blood draw, the Galleri test looks at DNA in your blood to determine if any of it may have come from cancer cells. Learn More
Food Sensitivity Panels: Our clinic utilizes US Biotek for our food sensitivity panels. These are an IgG based assessment and allow us to see what delayed-type food reactions are occurring for our patients. Breath Testing: Our clinic utilizes breath testing to assess for a gastrointestinal condition called SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth). We utilize both a local lab (Bozeman Health) as well as a send-out lab (NUNM SIBO Center). https://sibocenter.com/are-you-a-patient/
Cardiac and Metabolic Profiles: Our clinic utilizes Cleveland Heart Lab for specific cardiac and metabolic assessment. Adrenal Cortisol Panel: Our clinic utilizes DiagNos Techs for our Cortisol x 4 adrenal sufficiency panel. This test is a saliva-based assessment.

Imaging at Big Sky Integrative Health:
At BSIH we provide in-house EKG when necessary for our patients. This allows us to assess in real-time the electrical conductivity aspect of the heart.
At BSIH we also send patients for imaging studies needed to help evaluate what is currently happening in their body whether due to chronic disease, acute injury, or ongoing evaluation. These include:
X-Rays/ CT Scans/MRI’s
Diagnostic Ultrasound at Sound Diagnostics or Bozeman Health: Abdominal, Pelvic, Carotid Artery, Venous Doppler and more
Mammography
DEXA Scan (Bone Density Evaluation)
