Insurance Information

1. Private Insurance.

In Montana insurance companies are required to offer coverage for Naturopathic Medicine. Even though this is true, due to differing plans, it doesn’t necessarily mean your plan will include coverage for naturopathic services. Our office will gladly provide insurance verification to see if you have naturopathic benefits and what portion the insurance company will cover. I currently am a provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), Children’s Health Insurance Plan (CHIP) and Allegiance Healthcare. Please give our office a call and we will be happy to assist you with verifying your coverage.

2. What if my insurance doesn’t cover Naturopathic Medicine?

If your insurance does not cover Naturopathic Medicine, payment at the time of visit is expected and I will provide you with a super bill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement of office visits. United Healthcare is an example of this, and so far has reimbursed my patients who have this plan. Unfortunately, there are no guarantees on reimbursement.

3. What if I don’t have health insurance?
We believe Naturopathic Medicine should be affordable and available to everyone. Please give us a call for more information on our rates. In specific circumstances we have payment plan options or a sliding scale available.
